(A Holiday Moods Adventures Initiative empowering local livelihood)

WASTE TO TREASURE WITH PINE NEEDLES - Each year in the lower ranges of the Himalayas, pine trees shed their needles, which are hazardous triggering forest fires. As a great innovative idea, these waste needles are being used to make a lot of handicrafts items. Pine needle handicraft weaving is a centuries old craft. It is inexpensive, uses natural materials, and can be utilized to make unique-looking baskets. It also helps in social economic benefits to the local communities elevating poverty.
